Underfloor heating adds to the warm and intimate atmosphere, with a seductively snug lounge and a cosy kitchen/breakfast room. The state-of-the-art Bang & Olufsen sound system gives concert-quality music all over the house while the outdoor courtyard – with its magical concealed lighting – is perfect for long, leisurely summer evenings.
Upstairs, the Edwardian elegance of the bedroom (complete with finest English bedlinen) is complemented by an exquisite marble bath/ shower room with soft, fluffy towels. Downstairs, Hope Cottage has a washer-drier, electric oven and gas hob, microwave, a fridge/freezer, dishwasher and a full set of crockery, cutlery and glasses. There are sofa-beds in the living room for additional guests. Car parking is by permit.
